Demyx's Sitar- work in progress Demyx's Sitar, from Kingdom Hearts II, a personal project to challenge myself with working with oversized props :) Materials: matboard, Insulation foam, fiberglass, wood, cord fittings, etc Size: 68" approx. Other notes: Work begins on this project, after redoing the plans (running off initial plans and blowing it up from 2" to 68" showed its inaccuracies ^^; ) After rough cutting the design from varing thicknesses of insulation foam (and a piece of foamcore to make the beveling on the top the right thickness, I roughly assembled them together using spraymount. Next step is to shave down the body and bevel to their desired shape using xacto knives and surform rasps Updated on 10-04-08
