Click on image for larger view References Demyx's Sitar- work in progress Demyx's Sitar, from Kingdom Hearts II, a personal project to challenge myself with working with oversized props :) Materials: matboard, Insulation foam, fiberglass, wood, cord fittings, etc Size: 68" approx. Construction notes: Work begins on this project, after redoing the plans (running off initial plans and blowing it up from 2" to 68" showed its inaccuracies ^^; ) After rough cutting the design from varing thicknesses of insulation foam (and a piece of foamcore to make the beveling on the top the right thickness, I roughly assembled them together using spraymount. Next step is to shave down the body and bevel to their desired shape using xacto knives and surform rasps Updated on 3-04-08 back to gallery    This site is undergoing the last bit of finishing touches, so apologies if some kinks might not be worked out of it quite yet! A lead time of approximately 3 months is required for all prop commissions (more for complex props!), which means that props at -earliest-, can be completed for you by August 11th (08-11-2008)
