Zasalamel Cosplay Project
Soul Calibur III
This project was my first major costuming project. Haven't ever sewed or made chainmail before, so it was a big learning experience. The tunic was the most tedious part, and the boots were the most challenging! The outfit was very hot though, because the tunic was thick and the boots were made out of vinyl material!
This was debuted at Anime Expo 2006, where I got to meet his US voice actor, Keith Silverstein!
Since this project, I learned a lil about molding & casting things, and I would have cast all of the greebles and bits in resin instead of sculpey. It would withstand much more abuse than sculpey would!
